Other people's wisdom

  • I copied a post from forgotten wars forums about managing the software build. I posted this on my static web site, >>http://davelevy.info, but while tidying it up in April 2009, I uploaded it here >>BG2Filesystems.pdf. I originally said "Snapshot & Fast Restores! - An article taken from the now defunct forgotton wars site. Its about how once one has created a "vanilla" build, a safe snapshot copy can be taken quite economically in terms of time & space." It was written by someone who called themselves Michel.

Links

  • >>my del.icio.us BG2 links, includes sub tags of Portraits, Mods and forums and some configuration articles from the forums.
  • I moved >>my Jaheira FAQ, originally at davelevy.info to this site. In Baldur's Gate 2, there are specific quests related to the interaction between you ( the protagonist) and certain individual characters, that are party members. One of the candidates as an object of your affection is Jaheria. I put the linked site together in order to have one simple place where advice on how to set the game up to play the Jahaeira Romance was located. It is sadly a fact, that playing the Jaheira romance "out of the box" is not easy; its very buggy.
